An Agricultural Artifact
25.4 Ground is a single-season release built around two whole leaves rather than an isolate. Holy basil (Ocimum sanctum) and patchouli (Pogostemon cablin), grown in the USA and taken as whole leaf, went into olive oil and stayed there for 108 days. That long cold infusion is what produces the deep chlorophyll green you meet when the lid comes off, and it is why the aroma reads as a plant rather than a fragrance. The Texture
This is a concentrated treatment. It holds as a solid in the tin, breaks instantly into a golden oil the moment it meets skin temperature, and finishes dry. The waterless build means the active fraction is the whole formula, so a scrape the size of a grain of rice covers a face, and a little more covers hands, elbows, and the ends of the hair. The Ritual
- Break the seal. Open the tin and breathe it in first. The resinous earth note is strongest in the moment the lid lifts.
- Scrape. Draw the back of a fingernail across the surface to gather a small amount. Start with less than you think you need.
- Melt. Warm it between your palms for a few seconds. It releases into a clear golden oil almost immediately.
- Press. Press into damp skin rather than rubbing. Damp application locks in the water already on the surface and helps calm the look of stress-flushed skin.
Profile & Purity
