# 1 | Before planting, soak your ginseng for 10 minutes in a OHN solution to prevent fungal infections. Ginseng seed sowing should start in fall to early winter. If starting seeds at any other point your seeds will need to be kept moist and cool 34-37 degrees for 40-50 days. Sow seeds 1 ½ inches apart.
