How to Grow Sweet Dumpling Squash from Seed!
# 1 | Start your Mini Kabocha Kurinishiki seeds indoors a month before the last expected frost. Plant 1/2 inch deep and keep the soil moist until germination. Since Mini Kabocha Kurinishiki do not take well to transplanting, planting in peat pots is your best option. Plant two Mini Kabocha Kurinishiki seeds per pot, later clipping off the weaker of the two seedlings. Harden your Mini Kabocha Kurinishiki seedlings before transplanting following our hardening off guide.
#2 | About a week after the last frost or when the soil temperature in your area reaches is over 70 degrees F, plant your seedlings in very rich soil 8-10' apart in rows 10-12' apart.
